TechSolutions participated, on 11 and 12 February 2026, in the First National Conference on Digital Transformation, a historic milestone that marks the formal beginning of the process of developing Mozambique's National Digital Transformation Strategy.
As the first edition, this Conference is of particular significance because it represents the starting point of a structuring debate on the digital future of the country. Under the motto "Mozambique on the Road to Digital Transformation: Debates and Guidelines for Development", the meeting brought together experts, public decision-makers, business leaders and academics in a collective exercise of strategic reflection.
Among the central themes were the promotion of digital literacy, the strengthening of sound and resilient technological infrastructures, and the need for rigorous mechanisms for validating and adopting technologies appropriate to the national reality. The importance of strategic leadership, capable of guiding digital transformation with vision, responsibility and commitment to sustainable development, was also emphasized.
In his speech, the Minister of Communications and Digital Transformation highlighted the importance of ensuring the inclusion of all Mozambicans in this process, defending the conduct of extensive and participatory consultations. It also underlined the priority of expanding comprehensive communication infrastructures and consolidating a citizen-centred digital government, geared towards the efficiency, transparency and continuous improvement of public services.
The process will continue with regional consultations, ensuring that the National Digital Transformation Strategy is inclusive, representative and adjusted to the specificities of the various regions of the country, consolidating Mozambique in the path of an integrated and sustainable digital future.
