On June 1, the nexus of Mozambican innovation joined the Kutsemba Ka África Association to provide a memorable day for the children of the Gumbene community in Matola. Techsolutions stood out as the only Mozambican sponsor of the initiative, reinforcing its commitment to social responsibility and future generations.
In a context where childhood remains, for many Mozambican communities, a space of vulnerabilities and challenges, TECHSOLLUTIONS reaffirmed its role as an active agent of change. As part of the International Day of the Child, celebrated on 1 June, the company joined the Kutsemba Ka África Association to offer an unforgettable celebration to the children of Gumbene, in the Boane district, Maputo province.
More than just a symbolic gesture, the presence of Techsolutions was remarkable: the company was the only private sector entity to sponsor the event, demonstrating in practice a concrete commitment to human and community development.
"Every child is a promise of the future. And it is our duty, as a company that believes in progress with purpose, to cultivate this future with dignity, affection and opportunities," said Edilson Alberto, Executive Director of Techsolutions, during the ceremony.
Throughout the day, between games and dances, the company not only provided moments of joy, but also sought to listen to the voices of childhood. In relaxed conversations, several children were invited to share their dreams: what they want to be when they grow up, what world they would like to build, what hopes they carry in their hearts.
The answers were as diverse as inspiring: teachers, doctors, engineers, dancers, pilots. A mirror of the vast horizons that childhood can reach when cared for, valued and respected.
Child's Day in Gumbene ended between applause, laughter and lots of color. But what lived there goes far beyond the date: it is a reminder that investing in childhood is investing in the living and pulsating fabric of Mozambique's future.
